Hi friends. Today we introduce you to Jennifer Sinclair (@gopherguts). Jenn is a mom, wife, yoga instructor, astrologer, photographer and has a miniature farm with two chickens and rabbit family. She is also the second half of @fortuneandflow, she helps people stretch out their feelings. Most importantly Jenn is a Seeker who is poking at the bigger questions of this human experience
What have you learned from your kids? Lots of Patience and ice cream cures everything.
What will destroy the world and what will save it? Low vibrations will take us down and high vibrations will save us. Human vs human.
What are things that bring you joy in the world? The first sip of coffee in the morning, a few hours right before sunset when the light is golden, watching my kids experience new things and finding confidence, the perfect summer dress, road trips, good yoga classes and long savasana.
What does being a woman mean to you? Power, strength, being able to multitask like a boss, and the ability to grow an actual human inside of you. How fucking rad is that!!!!???
When you look in the mirror what do you see? I see a face that has many names and roles. I see smiles lines, tired eyes, and proof of life happening.
How do you keep yourself psychologically healthy? Meditation and yoga followed by more meditation and yoga.
Mantra of the moment? Let go of any expectations of how life is supposed to look and really tune into making it feel good.
Favorite quote? Gahhh I have a list of quotes but not gonna lie “clear eyes full hearts, can’t lose” always pops into my head. It’s really everything.
What do you want to tell men who don't understand? Karma.
What is Love? Love is friendship, Love is marriage, Love is motherhood/fatherhood. It’s opening your heart to someone you care about. It’s pure, it’s messy, it’s beautiful.
Why yoga? It’s always changing and evolving. You can never get to the end of the practice and know everything. It’s infinite. Im able to choose the practice for my mood. I can sweat and get wild on some days and other days I can stay in a seat and simply breath. The connection of the mind, body, and breath all rolled into one.
What’s for breakfast? Avocado toast with Trader Joe’s everything bagel seasoning (you’ll thank me)
Window seat or aisle? Window.
Was your grandmother a good cook? She was a simple cook. Her meals wouldn’t show up on Pinterest or anything but they were filled with such love. Every meal in my memory felt made just for me.
What type of people are you drawn to? I’ve been known to collect Capricorn’s as friends. People call me the sea goat collector.
Do you believe in miracles? I believe in beautifully harmonious aspects in astrology that may appear miracle like. So yes.
What do you need to do before you die? Travel the world, ride a llama, and go to space.
