What did you learn from being raised Catholic?
Oh wow, that's a complex question. The first thought that comes to mind is the importance placed on tradition. I admire the beauty and artful ways of old tradition. There isn't much of that anymore and that instills inspiration and intrigue for me now, whether I am in agreement or not with the ideas. I also learned that discomfort is good for you, it can make you present and usually creates some sort of memory. For example, sitting through an hour-and-a-half mass as a 1st grader. I think there is some character building in that.

If you had one memory you could carry with you for the rest of your life, what would it be?
The feeling of seeing a first sample of a design that really worked. So exciting. A memory of seeing a sample.
What drives you?
Life is short, and I just want to be the best version of myself every day. I want to learn as much as I can. I just want to achieve some of my goals so that I know this is possible.
